WWW.WIDCRICKET.NET will be the new home of the Central Broward Regional Super Cricket League!
On behalf of the Broward Multi Cultural Organization, you are invited to the opening night of
Championship Cricket at the Stadium on Friday, May 2nd in the beautiful Central Broward Regional Park.
The park is located at 3700 NW 11th Place, Lauderhill FL 33311. This park is on the corner of Sunrise Blvd
and State Road 7 (441), just minutes away from I95 and the Florida Turnpike.
Come support your favorite team, or develop a relationship with a club in helping promote the culture of
cricket in South Florida at the new Mecca for cricket.
Games will be every Friday starting at 7:30PM with the exception of a few Fridays slated for the high
power cricket of the MaqT20 Tournaments. Please visit cricketcouncilusa.com for more information
regarding taking cricket to the next level in South Florida.

Congratulations to WID Cricket Club for the conclusion to a phenomenal 2008 FSCL Sterling Financial
Twenty20 Tournament that was consummated with the team hoisting the Championship Trophy.
All season this team set the goal of nothing less than winning this trophy and they accomplished their
goal. The team would not be able to accomplish this season if it was not for the inform play of Mr.
Nicholas Saladeen. He had really performed this season with the bat and a carried the team to finals.
He was also supported in the batting by Neil Mungal, Anand Maharaj and finals MVP Ivan Seenathsingh.
Bowling for the season was lead by Vickram Ramotaur, Russell Mohammed, Avinash Rampersaud,
Marlon Ramlogan and Anand Maharaj with the bowling attack.
The team is complemented with outstanding supporting players both on and off the field with Parvesh
Deonarinesingh, Gavin Witz, Sajid Mohammed, Debbie Bally, Surin Ramnarace, Ted Ramdeo, Riad
Saladeen, Riyaz Mohammed, Hasratali Amin, Tariq Baksh, Dinesh Kumbham, Bijoy Abraham, Saq Masud,
Balram Deosaran, Viren & Vishma Seetal, Marlon Nugara, and Tom Ramkisson. More important is the
support from Shalini & Aishwarya Gopie.
I, Allan Gopie, I am the Captain of this club, but I am nothing without the support of these players and
WID CC supporters. I would like to thank those people who have supported us from the beginning and
those who don’t want to – watch us hold up the next trophy!!!!!!!!!!
